This full-body Cane Corso stands at a three-quarter angle, rendered in deep slate grey against a background of ochre gold swirls and botanical scrollwork lifted directly from the Vienna Secession playbook. Emerald, ruby, and sapphire-toned gemstones are set into the composition like inlaid enamel — scattered across the background panels and framing the dog's silhouette. The Corso's blocky jaw and wide chest are painted with the same gilded reverence Klimt reserved for Byzantine saints. The background divides into floral columns of teal and gold leaf, while spiral motifs echo across the dog's haunches. No other breed has the physical authority to hold a composition this dense without disappearing into the ornament.
